Purpose:
Many uncountable nouns can also have a countable form. Such nouns are known as two-way nouns.
This exercise offers practice in deciding whether an indefinite or no article is appropriate for the same noun in different contexts.
Instructions:
Each question will present two sentences using the same noun: one requiring the uncountable version of the noun and the other using the countable form.
For each sentence, you will need to decide which article (a/an) or no article (Ø) is correct for that context.
