Recognising sentence connectors
Exercise 1
Instructions:
In this first exercise, you are asked to find and click on sentence connectors in short texts.
Unlike Finnish, English requires that sentence connectors and other sentence adverbs, such as attitudinal adjuncts, are separated
from the subject of the sentence by a comma. It is therefore important that you learn to recognise these important structures.
