Punctuating items in a list
Exercise 2
Aims:
In the next exercise, you will see sentences in which the commas have been removed
from the items in a list.
Use the American convention for punctauating lists.
Remember that unlike Finnish, American English requires a comma before the last item in a list.
Instructions:
Your task is to find and insert commas into the correct places.
To insert a comma, click between the words where you think a comma should go.
The exercise will respond by giving you feedback concerning your selection.
An incorrect answer will make the selected location red, while a correct decision will highlight the correct position
in yellow.
